One of these would be through the obstruction of the nasal passage when the filters of the nose swell or by means of irregularities in the bone structure of the nose. This is the other mechanism which contributes to the headache impact of sinus infections.
There are reports that people who are afflicted by this kind of headache found an improvement after having been taken care of of their nasal and sinus disorders. These are the ones who have gone through treatments that included antihistamines, decongestants and nasal sprays containing steroids. These drugs often improve nasal congestion and/or drainage of the sinuses.
